I lived in Parkgrove Terrace by KelvinGrove park, number 14 as I recall, on the corner of Grey street,
where I discovered that the massage parlour didnt actually do massages. . .
Almost got done for Drink Driving, as we were all paralytic. Mcewans 80 shilling as I reacll..
luckily I had the sense to throw the car keys into the park, and without evidence ( despite a little "chat" in the back of a police van ) they reluctantly had to let us all go.... Ah those were the days when the coppers were at least honest and you had a fair chance..
Having been plucked from the countryside in Wales and dragged to Glasgow, all I can say is that City life was a bit of an eye opener.
Although, a freindlier place you will not find . .
funny, but I generally have good experiences in places where others do not...
