Welcome to Luxor AladdinSane, welcome to Luxor. If you ever return, think back on this visit and say to yourself how nice it was compered to this future visit. It will be far worse I predict.AladdinSane wrote:It wasn't about 'sales'.
The guy who followed me through the streets also followed me into shops. I tried everything to get rid of him. I can understand the locals needing money to survive - I've been a student and unemployed for periods in my life so I know all about struggling...but this was harassment/STALKING! And not one policeman anywhere!

That's the way it is Alladinsane, but you will not be alone, imagine if it happens to only 50% of tourists, that makes 50% of tourists going home with a story to tell. You are perfectly right to pt the story on here there are people that read this site for information and your information and happenings will help (Hopefully) guide others.

That'll be me when I return. So long away on my return I will be seen as fresh meat. A green horn. Next time you're offered banana tell them you prefer fresh bananas. All the bananas in Egypt are always over ripe all shrivelled up in the Egyptian sun. Soft and swishy good for nothing.
Don't need to go to Egypt to be hassled. A couple I know asked me four weeks in a row when am I returning

My post above failed to be uploaded completely. It is no where near. Shame. It also stalled. I will finish the same with the suggestion word should go around to send these Hassle Hounds to Coventry. Silent treatment on mass giving them something to think about.
