You know one, when they get up on stage and can carry the entire song with just their voice and "presence"
This could have ended up a crappy Karaoke performance by anyone less talented, as the backing music is tinny.
Puts on a smile and lets his talent come through. I have to admit I did and still do like David Essex.
Underrated in my opinion, but back in '75 I guess it was more the girls that liked him rather than the blokes.. right ?
This video was chosen, not because its the best showcase for this song, but to prove the concept of the first line I wrote in this topic.

Does not look like that now BM. Did you see the couple of films he made? all sort of rock style acting/musical/great music ones.

I want to see the film Silver Dream Machine, as I missed that when it came out.

He doesn't look bad for 67 years of age though.. Can still sing apparently.
