For Music Lovers

Post by Major Thom »

For you music lovers out there, try the following on Youtube

Daryl's House, videos of Daryl Oates with stars such as C.Lo Green, The O Jays, ZZ Top, etc etc.

For true Blues lovers, I have come across a blues guitarist I had never heard of before, Stevie Ray Vaughan, cannot stop listening to him, it's true you do not play the Blues, you feel them.

Both have many video's on Youtube would be worth your time looking them up.

I looked at this thread hoping to find a concerto for bagpipes and didgeridoo.

Most disappointing :(

The bagpipes are my passion Newc. There are so many modern tunes on YouTube now, look up SnakeCharmer (Archy Jay)and listen to her play the theme from Game of thrones or the old Metallica song Lamb of God, or the Badpiper with We Will Rock You and Thunderstruck, also try The Red Hot Chilli Pipers. My music passion though is the blues, from John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters, through BB King Albert King and now Stevie Lee Vaughan. I do listen to music a lot, but prefer music with no key changes, music with the correct tempo with no tempo changes, and music that grasps you, anything else gives me a headache and insults my brain.
Of course I do like music of my teens and early 20's too. Makes you feel old when the Beatles and Rolling Stones are played on "Sing Something Simple"

That has to be one of the oddest comments I've read coming from someone who professes to love music.
