Back in the Good Old Days of BBC radio I used to enjoy listening to music on Radio 2. It's not a shadow of its former days thanks to new juvenile presenters with the sense of humour of 5yr olds. When I was in the UK I enjoyed the local radio station, but I can't receive that in Luxor. However I was delighted to find I can receive Gold Radio - "Classic hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s". If you were a previous fan of Radio 2 try this station.
If you have a smartphone hatusu you can download an app called Tunein radio,, most of the local UK radio stations are on it, you can also search for a type of genre, it hardly uses any internet bandwidth so will work fine in Egypt.
