Just picked these from my garden and whilst they're small - WOW does the flavor POP!
If anything would bring me back to Egypt it is the delicious fresh juice drinks While I'm showing strawberries I have to say my most favourite favourite drink there was freshly made mango. Nothing better than sitting under a misting fan, people watching in the Souk in the wee hours and sipping back fresh mango
Juice bars are springing up here and I'm finding me strongly attracted to them. Veggie based drinks are super cool and surprisingly refreshing.
Your favourite drink???

Re: Memories of .....
In Egypt, probably my favourite drink is kirkhade (sp) hot or cold. I enjoy the fresh orange juice and also an occasional sugar cane juice.
In Morocco I am hard pushed between the fresh orange juice and mint tea (far superior to the Egyptian offering), but a real favourite is the avocado juice.

I have never had nor have I ever heard of avocado juice. Is it a thick drink (guess I can only conjure avocado puree)? Or is it somehow strained out to a juice?
