Good luck with getting lamb shanks. Nubi at Wolf was really struggling to find decent lamb at a sensible price a few months ago. My only experience with water buffalo was on our first home Christmas dinner in Luxor and it was very tough and stringy...never again

For the more discerning among us....
So we couldn't get the Lamb shanks or the baby buffalo and settled on Smoked Duck.
10 guests loads of booze and fun, it takes me 3 days of prep & 3 days to recover....

Arkwright's had a load of lamb shanks in three weeks ago, can't see that he sold out considering the price per pack of two.

I bought three packs and ate them weeks ago, he sold out I checked.....

I was in there this morning, didn't want any but looked, he said that three people had bought most of them. Went into KZ for some Cheddar cheese, only had two small pieces left, 40's had non, KZ had no meat whatsoever, even on the Brazil counter. MT would of had a field day not being able to find anything
