Hey I was just wondering if you think its possible to learn Arabic without a tutor?

Have any of you here learned on your own? If so could you recommend any good resources??

Thanks!!

Listen! I spent months listening and slowly but surely you recognise words being repeated, I asked what does ........ mean? I learned my day to day Arabic this way, I still understand more than I speak but I'm getting there and never had a lesson.

We had lessons but also have the Audible arabic course. Michel Thomas Arabic Foundation course.

It is Cairene arabic so a bit different from Luxor but a pretty good start and very easy to use :)
