Mohamed Salah Beauty Salon

Post by Chocolate Eclair »

Mohamed Salah the ladies and gents hairstylist has moved to where the old Smilies Restaurant used to be, the place is much better and well decorated. Mohamed has looked after Mrs Choccy's hair since moving to Luxor, and is very good at European styles and colouring, he even give me the hairstyle I like!
Well Done Mohamed, congratulations, and keep up the good work, looking after the European Ladies hair.

Please would you be more specific as to location as I have no idea where the old Smilies Restaurant used to be. I heard there was a good hairdresser called Mohamed in the street beside the passport office but when I went past a few days ago the place was full of workmen and looked as though it was being renovated. I'm wondering if this is the same Mohamed who has now moved to new premises

Thanks in anticipation :D

Oh good, but where is it? lol

Sorry, just saw Bombay's post, and that has confused me even more. I went down that street and all I could see was a place being renovated. Is this the place where this Mohamed is going to be, or where he used to be? Or maybe has he opened up in the last day or so, since I went past? :urm:

He reopened 3 days ago, he still has to finish his coffee and snack bar at the back, but the hairdressing is back in action, he was only closed 4 days.

Personally I believe he is one of the best ladies hairdressers in Luxor, he speaks English and is understanding to the needs of our European ladies.

For me though its, a good old trim, face threading and herbal facemask every 6 weeks, in the words of the song, "Keep young and Beautiful" T in C ha ha!!!! strange to think I have no tatoo's but a year ago one developed on my forehead, its gone now though thanks to Mohamed, but it read Dunlop ;) ;)

Thanks for your responses, very helpful. I obviously went down that street on the wrong day, just before he had opened up for business again. I ended up getting my hair done in a place near the hospital and it was another disaster so I won't be returning there hahaha. Maybe next time I will try this Mohamed :D
