The United Kingdom Summertime...

Post by Who2 » Mon Jul 25, 2016 6:59 pm

Now If I was a holiday maker I would come to 'Blighty it has everything anybody wants.
There can be no Country in the World with so many music festivals as Britain, it's quite manic & a bit of a phenomena to be honest.
Over 500 this year alone.
Iv'e always considered the facilities as an earner, thinking about portaloos,
I had 12 once for a rave they all got blocked with 20 minutes. I mean really crap

Going to France on the ferry ? 'great idea but wrong time of the year.

Bet Margate becomes hip once again... 8)

Never mind Margate, let's hear it for Scarborough. I saw Status Quo last month, I'm going to see Bryan Adams next week and - AND - I'm going to be seeing Joanne Fletcher next week where she apparently will be chatting to people in a small venue in the town centre.
Beat that Margate!

And there's more! We're having a tour of HMS Explorer today - a "blonde" submarine. (so called because apparently it is (or was) powered by hydrogen peroxide. I never knew that)
Any submarines in Margate today?? I don't think so.

That's not what my local informants inform me, they still haven't decided on 1 or 2 hours movement and it's days past the
time change..oh! well that's Egypt, 'I love it..... 8)
Ps:How come a mini-cab to Finsbury Park is £12 quid and a black cab back is £28 quid ? Now that's robbery with violence.
I'm all for Uber cabs, well I would be if, I owned one of them 'smart phones.
