What gets me is all those idiots 'hoarding, their thinking is so limited ffs...
Do they really believe, 50 toilet rolls or 20 kilos of pasta will last them, stupid silly-bunts.

I live in a block with 90 families that's a lot of daily rubbish, the dustmen used to come daily they now
come every few days, I'm going to have a chat because, next week there won't be any collections.

Never mind stockpiling, with everyone at home, there'll be riots if the Netflix servers can't handle the extra load!

It seems cash is already king. My nearest supermarket is Waitrose, but there was nothing in the place, so went off to ASDA on the Ise of Dogs. Went to the automatic pay area, where I joined a queue of no less than fifty people, I joke not. As this reduced, I noticed one of the staff shouting if there was anyone paying cash. At least twenty people were in front of me, but only I was paying cash.

Obviously people are getting everything on credit cards, because they don't get paid until the end of the month, or maybe some are being a little canny, credit in the near future may be short coming, especially if there is no work. Pressure certainly will be put on the banks, and we all know banks give no sympathy to the average joe,.......so my advise to such people is to hold on to as much cash as possible, one may certainly need it in the future.

If banks close down, people will be at the mercy of cash machines, these place will often become crime scenes,......keep as much cash at home as you can possibly afford.

Banks in Egypt are very vulnerable at difficult times, when it comes to general liquidity,..........Cash is king at a much earlier stage than those in first world countries.

I wrote the above one week ago, and already the Central Bank of Egypt have just announced there will be limits of the amount of liquid cash that can be withdrawn or for that matter deposited.

Warning - try to obtain as much cash as possible, should you in your own opinion believe that this pandemic may last longer in Egypt than here in the West, then you should try to gain access to either € or $, avoid £, as this will fall probably by a further 10% in the short term.

Here in the U.K., I understand obtaining liquid cash could be a problem short to medium term.
