Karnak Sound & Light

Post by newcastle » Mon May 19, 2014 7:46 pm

I read somewhere - may have been here or elsewhere (excuse senility) - about some kerfuffle over Egyptians not being allowed into the English language performances.

Per Mena, of Luxor Times, Egyptians CAN go in...but they have to pay the tourist price.

Good...and bad....news for Luxor ladies with Egyptian hubbies

... and Dutch people, building on a swamp, power cuts, water cuts, tin cans for solar power thingies, dogs that frighten Egyptians that scale the walls, big windows, little windows, motor bike clubs that die before they are born, sitting in coffee shops talking to invisible tourists, attempting to work out the length of a piece of string, watching the TV in a power cut... and seeing words that are not there.
Life is your's to do with as you wish- do not let other's try to control it for you. Count Dusak- 1345.

In the idiom of Verbalizing or The Verballs:...
verb
-bals, -balling, -balled (transitive)
(slang) (of the police) to implicate (someone) in a crime by quoting alleged admission of guilt in court
"The Salvation of Mankind lies in making everything the responsibility of All"
Sophocles.
