Dog Sitter

Post by Major Thom » Sun Apr 24, 2016 7:27 am

Due to a member of the family being taken ill, we may have to return home for a week or two, does anyone know of a good dog Sitter please. Our dog is boisterous, and likes attention, he is also a good security dog who will let you know at any time of the day if anyone is around. Only reliable people with a passion for dogs need apply. Can you PM me with peoples contacts or pass this message to anyone you feel may be interested. Our villa is on the West Bank in a rural position and in a small friendly village.
One other thing our dog is a villa dog and has the freedom of all parts of the villa, and he does not take other dogs lightly. The sitter will be able to use all the villas facilities and the equipment therein. Please use PM's and not the general forum to advise of Sitters.

Can't help you there but I'm curious to know how you dealt with the issue of the dog when you went o Australia.

We bring in a Dog Sitter from the UK Newcastle, the Dog Sitter is booked for this year, and it may be too little notice to bring them across from the UK. I know it sounds extravagant but needs must be. We pay the flight from the UK the Dog Sitter gets a free holiday, we are happy with the situation.

Help a local charity, book the hound into ACE. They take very good care of their tourists.

I once sent Tyson to ACE for 3 weeks, he had a great time he didn't bite anybody unusual for him,
and they pumped him full of 'good stuff and it was not costly....8)
