Kam Thai restaurant / takeaway

Post by Brian Yare »

Has anybody here visited this restaurant / takeaway situate in a small side-street opposite the Pyramisa Isis? The reviews on Trip advisor look reasonable.

Despite the slightly incorrect instructions, the closing off of part of Medina street, and Sharif road being one-way in the wrong direction, so I've marked where I think that Kam Thai is on Google Earth. At the bottom of the knife and fork.

As previously said, it only seats 8 people inside, and another 4 outside, so would be no good for a large group. I had an excellent meal there, without breaking the bank.

There is a large sign pointing the way as you come out of Passport Street towards Medina Street.
Also if you look on Google maps at the area and zoom right in the Restaurant is clearly labeled.

I obviously had not zoomed in far enough before, but in order for this technique to work you have to be very much in the right area. Anyway, I've found it now, and slightly adjusted the position of the Google Maps icon.
