I bought some very nice dark chocolate buttons from arkwrights yesterday.... 8)

Can't speak for Major Thom, but Swiss firm Lindt were producing dark chocolate for several decades before milk chocolate was even invented and I think their dark chocolate is pretty fine.

Their dark 51% cooking chocolate bar is terrific for baking and such.

Last year purchased 6 bars of Lindt Plain chocolate in Luxor, this year nothing, evrywheres SHUT

Well back again and didn't find anything shut. Alcohol shops open, supermarkets open, veggie shops open.

I'm glad you didn't upset the major by mentioning that new Swiss-run delicatessen which is having its opening party today and, would you believe it, offering all varieties of Lindt chocolate at half- price!!
