''V,'' the final chapter.

Post by Dusak »

I'm happy to say that finally, my torment is over as today I received a very satisfactory result. The reason for my prolonged torment, let us say, was purely down to a 'misunderstanding' of the true facts. And that's all I'm going to say. Also, now having more than three months on my visa, I was able to open a new bank account. ''Happy days are here again.''

Where did you open it Dusak and what did they need for you to open it?
Good news on the other fronts, congrats on getting the visa and hopefully quiet nights lie ahead.

The new bank across the road from the HSBC, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. Very posh inside, staff very helpful. In my case they needed an electric bill and ownership papers, so in your case it would be your rental contract and maybe the electric, and your passport with at least three months visa. Very little paperwork to fill in, just mainly signatures plus a minimum of three hundred Stirling if you require a Stirling account or 6,000Le for that currency.
