Just buy 1 of them raid plugins, the ones that have the liquid bottle attached, there about 30LE, the refils are about 21le (last about a month) I was sceptical about them when I was told how good they were, you can even leave a door or window open with them. I dont get any more mosquitos or any kind of flying insects now. (safe if you have animals too).

Good to see Who2 replied because as soon as I saw the question I remember him asking years ago about them. I remember searching on line way back then and there were lot's of places. The alternative would be to get one maid up in Luxor which I wouldn't think should be so difficult.

Ever window and door on my place have fine mesh screens, they still get in, especially the very tiny ones that have the biggest bite and like between the fingers or toes best which send you itchy crazy. Tried the raid plug ins, no good, tried the strip ones no good, fly spray very good, but no good for me breathing it. Bob and Alfie also don't like it. Put expensive nets up at the windows, problem solved but they get me on the way to the loo or kitchen.

I always thought mosquito nets would be good for another problem in Luxor - cutting down the risk of being pooh bombed by gecko's in the night !

will get back as soon as I speak to my friend, as she gve me mozzie net for my new flat, and I am sure the packaging is in Arabic, and at that time she had not been out the country for ages, so I have the feeling she bought it in Luxor. Will let you know when I know.
(the way the completion date on this temple of ours is going, we will not need mozzie nets.....I think the time it will be ready all animal forms on Earth will be extinct, as I will be!!!!!)
