Niss's Gaff.

Post by Who2 »

Over 3O years ago I was messing around in Israel staying at my newly-married mate's houses in a place called Noff Yam, nr Herztaliya. I used to go jogging and wandering and came across an old mosque and a Templar fort with a nice muslim family in abode. Next to an army cutting down to the beach, on the top of the cliff was a borstal,
[a custodial institution for youthful offenders.]
Down on the beach I met a lunatic 'aboriginal looking guy building a home he had a bar, we became best mates as did any passing army beach patrol drinking, smoking and BBQing late into the night.
Ness came out of prison 5 years previous and couldn't find anywhere to live and started on the cliff face with a pick-axe. His electricity he stole from above, the borstal. Girls came from all over the world to stay in his er...chalets.
I found this picture I took 32 years ago so googled him up and found this item.
It's an interesting read, plus he used to color his pigeons as well...

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.
