The Pinkerton's..

Post by Who2 » Mon Jul 11, 2016 5:55 pm

Halfway through this weighty treatise, I became fascinated by the history of one Adam Worth and his fantastic but forgotten robberies.
But became sidelined with a million $$$ robbery on The Bank of England by the Bidwell Brothers.
Upon investigation: read on quite fascinating... 8)

Ps: The more I engage in this book, understanding the Pinkerton's success becomes apparent.
They enjoyed the chase, as much as the miscreants enjoyed doing it.
