Yasser El-Hamboli

Post by Arthur »

So who is this Yasser El-Hamboli guy? And what's he doing with all these arms?

Egyptian outlaw in Luxor is 'more armed than the interior ministry'

A security source told Ahram’s Arabic website that wanted outlaw Yasser El-Hamboli and his gang have more firearms and ammunition than the Ministry of Interior. The source, who did not want his identity to be disclosed, said El-Hamboli had imported numerous and varied weapons from abroad into Luxor and he now has a full arsenal.

In an attempt to force El-Hamboli to hand himself in, the police arrested his 13-year-old son Heshmat. “On the son’s mobile phone we found pictures of imposing strange-looking firearms and ammunition,” the source said. “He’s more armed than the interior ministry.”

However, arresting El-Hamboli's son did not have the intended effect. The father and a dozen armed men hijacked a vehicle carrying an aerostat to use as a bargaining chip. The source said that the police released El-Hamboli's son in return for the aerostat, which is owned by a tourism company.

Anyone else seen the new gun shop down by the post office? :( Only god knows what the government were thinking allowing this sort of shop to be opened in the middle of the tourist area. I just hope it is well monitored!! :?

There is far more to this story that this organ El Ahram are letting on about, I also learn that three members of a certain Egyptian family have been shot on the WB on Sunday night.

All this and I have not even set one foot on the WB yet.

Yasser el Hamouli, is from the village past Karnak has already served 15 years the Army and Police try to re catch him on a regular basis. The Arms importing is just media hype as his weapons were probably snatched from Police stations during the revolution. So my sources inform me, and there is no conformation as to any shootings on the West Bank last weekend...........8)

I think what the Dr is saying here Keefy is that those who write on here out of Egypt fine, but when here one should be very careful, not only on the internet but also on the mobile phone.

This morning at 10 a.m. a certain balloon basket, amongst other things arrived at police HQ, with a greater armed escort than I ever saw given to Mubarak. If only "Balloon Girl" were still around, she would tell us all........or would she. Just to prove I know, I shall give you a clue........4 Americans.

Any one want to comment.

A-Four, why do you persist in writing riddles?

I just wish that you'd tell us what you have to say, instead of playing silly-beggars!
