Luxor
On Sunday 30 June at 1530 marches are scheduled to start from the south of the city (Awamia area) and north (Karnak area) and they intend to meet together at Abu el Haggag Square behind Luxor temple then they will move together to the Governor’s office.
You may have read about changes to the US travel advice. We are keeping the situation under close review. We have not changed our overall level of advice on travelling to Egypt, nor have we decided to send any Embassy staff or dependents out of the country. If there any changes to this position I will let you know and our travel advice will change.
I don't know how many are aware but two very long term residents have died recently friends have had to get the police to enter their homes and have discovered bodies. The police immediately seal off...
