Just had a phone call from my neighbour to let me know of their journey.
Qena is like a Ghost Town with no Benzine available, got to Hurghada fuel gauge on the red, taxi driver has got to stay in Hurghada until a delivery of fuel. it seems as though this fuel drought is all over Upper Egypt.
Many locals are still wondering when there will be a delivery, things are fast grinding to a halt! Even taxis in Luxor are now struggling to continue their business.
It's a crying shame how people that want to work, even though there are only scratchings to be got, are now wondering where the money will come from to put food on the table.
Luxor to Hurghada
