Full Control of Thinking - Farag.

Post by Hafiz »

Department of Morale Affairs.

Luxor residents, particularly those who drape themselves in the Egyptian flag, would know all about it – it used to be headed by Dr, Major General, Professor, Governor Farag. Its not about morale inside the military its about propaganda for the whole of Egypt and its been there since 1952 or 1956 with the purpose of telling Egyptians to love the dictatorship, exaggerate their successes (none), conceal their mistakes (in the millions) or if you don't love them - fear them.

I’m sure its moved on but as at 2014 this is what it did:

1. Secretly campaigned/paid for the campaign of Presidential candidates – in violation of both the law and the constitution. A criminal charge is warranted.

2. Secretly campaigned/paid for the campaign to change the constitution – in violation of the law and constitution. The new constitution gave the military the power to appoint their own Minister. A criminal charge is warranted.

3. Is the Army’s propaganda agency – in violation of its role as servant of the country not its master. It promotes the army not the state/nation/people.

4. Spends the taxpayers money to promote the Army to the people so they love and trust it – only to then use that trust to its own benefit.

5. Whilst Morsi was in office they used the taxpayers money to produce videos/advertisements showing Sisi to be a devout and effective Minister in the Morsi cabinet. He wasn’t effective for defense of the country but was effective for himself and ‘friends’. A criminal charge is warranted.

6. “relies on film school students conscripted into the Army” to do their propaganda to strengthen their political and economic power. It gets their labor for free.

7. Works with/is funded by prominent businessmen to promote the Army/Sisi – Tarek Nour and Naguib Sawiris – persons who also funded Mubarak and in the case of Sawiris admitted to secretly funding the ‘people’s power’ (never that) Tamarod movement which brought Morsi down. Sawiris is also a friend and business partner of the monster who runs North Korea. http://foreignpolicy.com/2014/01/15/wel ... e-affairs/ Again a criminal charge.

8. Morale Affairs says its concerned with only the internal workings of the Army. Rot. It acts as a public censor of any public media it wants whatever that media is doing whether its about the Army or not. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-egyp ... JE20110728.
This breaches the constitution and a criminal charge should happen.

9. Any public media writing any story about the Military must get permission from Morale Affairs. http://globalnewsroom.org/media-control ... evolution/. This is against the law/constitution.

10. All stories about the war on terror (a defeat) must get approval from Morale Affairs which is sure to require a story that everything is better than better and the military performing more than brilliantly.

11. Morale Affairs arrests journalists (al Masry) for not following the Army line, tries them in secret before military courts and jails them. http://www.dw.com/en/muzzle-for-egypts- ... 124334This is illegal.

12. Morale Affairs goes further that just controlling information about military operations and “bans publishing or broadcasting news on the armed forces, their formations, operations, equipment, and officers.” https://timep.org/commentary/how-egypti ... n-terror/- most/all of this information is freely available in international military/intelligence magazines – any idiot knows it all. Publishing stories on corruption or maladministration in the army will also get you rounded up – but probably not killed. https://cpj.org/2016/02/egypt-prevents- ... -leavi.php

13. The head of Morale Affairs is infallible and anyone who challenges him is got rid of. In 2011 a famous female TV journalist asked General Kato, head of Morale, on Dream TV2 for evidence to back his (mad) assertions. She was fired within hours. http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent ... ing-e.aspx. The Baghat family own the TV station and much more, were close/supine to Mubarak and arrested, and then released, for corruption. There is no evidence in existence that they have integrity. Kato made public statements that student demonstrators should be sent to ‘Hitler’s ovens’ presumably not for food. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/35644.aspx. Like all the other Generals his education/training would barely get you a low job in any other army but shows, along with Farag, the very low standards of Morale Affairs.

Its also true but hard to prove that no journalist has got a job in the media for several generations without the approval of Military Intelligence. This is against the free speech provisions of the constitution so its illegal.

So it operates entirely outside the law but uses the same laws to jail its opponents.

(An aside which shows you how Sisi fears Fatouh – 6 of Fatouh’s staff were arrested in 2013/14 for campaigning against the referendum on the new constitution – just for campaigning)

Here is some of their third rate publically funded propaganda – wasn’t Nasser a complete failure removed by his own officers?

Morale Affairs ostensible and legal job may have been to purge the army but its real, and non-legal, job is to manage public opinion – to the advantage of military power and financial interests. It does this with the taxpayers own money.

In its own words (incoherent and duplicitous) it says it does this:
“the media and psychological centres of the Egyptian Armed Forces, which specializes in several tasks including psychological insurance for members of the armed forces to protect them from any deviation, And make recommendations in order to be all individuals in good spirits and do not affect the performance of combat. It carries out studies for public leadership help to identify the positive and negative effects before or after making a decision. Also collaborated in the development of skills and abilities and intellectual leadership of the leaders in the various levels, especially those with special tasks. And cooperation in the proper selection of leaders and individuals to assume positions of process by the job description” I think they have failed all their objectives at all times. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morale_Affairs_(Egypt)

They also run a members only bowling alley, billiards room and arcade paoid for by the taxpayer in one of the best inner east suburbs of Cairo. This is what it looks like:

Farag. Who is now 142 years of age and with an IQ of 60, recently appeared on national TV to extol the army. His many friends in Luxor would have been overjoyed. https://www.egypttoday.com/Article/1/29 ... icer-Haies

In recent years the military have exceeded Farag's 'influence/threats' agenda and now aim to control the media. Its interesting that what is happening is not an authoritarian government controlling the media but the military organization that overtly controls the government now directly owning the media. In the event of an election that brought a civilian to power the army media could juzt bring him down – like Morsi was brought down by, amongst others, that great democrat Naguib Sawiris’s ONTV.

This is a big shirt. Gone is massive state ownership now its the Generals adding to this to expand power and to obtain control which pursues their specific interests and not the interests of the Government.

The Intelligence Service owns a venture capital fund, Eagle Capital, which has a lot of stooges/civilian fronts on its board but now owns, at least, ONTV and 6 newspapers or websites. How they got this money and from whom seems clear. It was taken from the taxpayer. https://www.madamasr.com/en/2017/12/21/ ... elligence/. It also owns two film and television production companies, seven marketing and advertising agencies and one security company, http://egyptian-media.com/about/#[object%20Object].

The Zulficar law firm represents the immense financial and specific media interests of the Armed Forces – no western multinational law firm will touch this filthy law firm. http://www.zulficarpartners.com/ It claims to be a multinational law firm but this is a lie. The Samir law firm also seems on the military take and continues a great Egyptian legal tradition – just take the money. http://www.samlf.com/

All media interests of the Army have front men attractive to the robotic masses. Hashima the boy wonder billionaire with a preference for young, sexually ambiguous Spanish soccer players, whom no one knows his source of wealth, owns TV stations and worships the President on all fours with his microscopic intellect. He is likely a front. Apparently he is an out of control spendthrift – a bit like the government. https://www.madamasr.com/en/2017/12/21/ ... elligence/ He was recently replaced when his media was sold to Military Intelligence/replaced as front man but not after ‘owning’ Youm7 (newspaper and internet news) for some time and driving it into the ground. He is regarded as the outstanding manager in Egypt and has never worked or been educated elsewhere – if at all.

Egyptian state TV (Nile TV and 22 loss making others), used to be controlled by the state but since 2011/12 its headquarters in central Cairo with its 43,000 staff (most don’t show up to work according to a senior employee and there is lots of patronage) is teaming with soldiers with machine guns and its set up like a high security military camp. In 2011 it vilified the Tahir Square kids and later the ‘evil’ NGO’s in hysterical tones and visuals that promoted fear. It lies without demurring and the lack of integrity of its staff is beyond question. Staff who protest are ‘handled’ by the General Prosecutor. http://content.time.com/time/world/arti ... 10,00.html. Salafi,

Brotherhood and al Jazeera channels have been closed down – not by the courts, Prosecutor or relevant government licensing agency but by chaps with guns. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleea ... 85326.html

The local CBC TV network is also owned by the Secret Service chaps along with al Nahar television.

Some fronts are politicians acting for the Army. The former Finance Minister, Khorshid (a failure in her momentary appointment, agent of the corrupt Sawiris family, poor education and no work experience to speak of, botched plastic surgery and chaotic makeup) acts as another front and she has pressured other TV networks “to negotiate possible partnerships with the General Intelligence Service, or to complete acquisition deals.” I think her meaning is clear.

It’s a side point but shows you the extreme ruthlessness of the Security Services in ‘managing’ the country. We know little but the period 2011-13 was a time when the media published information on the dark times that would previously have led to jail. Part 1 is that the security chaps kept compromising tapes, sexual, on public figures – including Mubarak. Part 2 is a former Security chief breaking up a marriage by getting the husband committed to a psych hospital so he could marry the very much younger wife. https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/ ... =firefox-b

Things don’t change and it is now reported that the former Presidential candidate Shafik was forced in early ’18 to by blackmailing him with a sex tape of him produced by Military Intelligence. It’s a story hard to believe but consistent with the above story and the fact that this story was written by a very experienced journalist with near unique contacts into the body of the beast. http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/egypt ... -772732588

You wonder about the military's ability to run media and propaganda because their expensive videos of their own army are comedic - more Lauren and Hardy than an organized killing force.

Of course the BBC has been kicked out and charged with violating national security/supporting the Jews/perversion and the Times of London kicked out (Emperor Rupert took this on the chin which is very odd for him) and other perverted western media forced out/encouraged to leave. Reuters has been warned and may not survive the year - they are a Jewish established firm in any event and probably should have been kicked out 100 years ago.

There is another post where the military are demanding all journalists and mullahs attend their indoctrination/media/fear training courses run by the military and on military facilities. Give me a week.
