Lawn Overkill ?

Post by Who2 »

I love my lawn, small but well maintained.
I learnt to love lawns having been made to mow ours every week since a small child.

So, out with the scissors, the shears & the braun......and
In with the smallest & cheapest mower from souq.com it came today, a little overkill one might think but,
I have just reduced it's length now to contemplate reducing it's width.
'Another tricky obstacle to overcome .... 8)

A 'chilled beer is required to ponder such a quandary !

Removing the grass collecting box is a good idea, in the time it takes to cut the lawn and rake it up, the beer just might stand a chance of cooling in time....

Personally, If I had a spare Monkey, then this ( although still overkill ) would be a great purchase.. :up

Ideal for people like me who are Lazy buggers "energy efficient" ...... 8)

I still think a sheep on a short pivot rope in the centre would do the job. Also free fertiliser!

Couldn't you make an appointment every couple of weeks to have a visit for a day from one of Aida's sheep?

I used to enjoy firing up the old ATCO Lawnmower and helping with the lawns, doing nice stripes. OCD Overload... :D

At the age of 12, I robbed the engine for my wooden go kart which had pram wheels at the front on a basic cross beam with rope for the steering, and bike wheels on the back to attach the chain to from the lawnmower drive.
no brakes either and direct drive. It didnt end well... 8)

I can well imagine, my mates and I did a similar thing with a push bike and a small engine pressing on the back tyre, I still have the scars
