House of Menmaatre

Post by Frater0082 »

You i've been thinking alot lately about the temples of Seti I. Especially the one in Abydos and I wondered if there is a possibility that something could be hidden ib one of them. Some important history on the lost era between The end of Tutankhamun's reign and straight into Seti's reign.

I noticed two false doors in one of them. Of course they may have sentimental value to the Gods of old or is there something on the other side of those walls.

Not sure here Fratter what you mean or which 'false doors' you are on about, being that Kevin-in-Abydos no longer writes on this site, I shall do my best to help.

Do you mean the 'holy of Holies' as in the Jewish term, or in the burial chamber of Osirus ?

I think that I have posted in another thread, but if you have never read them I recommend that you read "The Search for Omm Sety" and "Omm Sety's Egypt". Also listen to the YouTube recording of an interview with the author of the latter at https://youtu.be/dUQu1HIf7TU .

The following novel also looks interesting: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mistress-Temple ... mm+Sety%22
