Was Tutankhamun a child warrior?

Post by crewmeal »

It seems not. Evidence in a documentary last weekend suggests he was actually a warrior for his kingdom. It's not often I agree with the Daily Mail, but on this occasion, they've just about got it right. I did watch this Channel 5 programme and it really was fascinating.

The Channel 5 prog was quite good. As for the Daily Mail......

Was the leather armour ever worn by Tutankhamun? Who knows.

Join a few dots and "invent " history.

One of the three hour long programs broadcaster on Channel 5 is to be repeated on Wednesday evening at 7p.m. It is in fact the one with Lucy Skinner from Northampton University, who is an expert on leather, and is often brought in by the British Museum their such finds. Next month she is off to Sudan to examine the leather strappings on the wheels of ancient chariots in the Kartoum Museum of Ancient History.

P.S.- She will not be calling off in Egypt,........I wonder why?
