I think that no more be said when you refer to a human being as an ''it.''

"Gays" now "paedophilia" seems to me like you are hiding something! Ive always found that those who seem to be really anti gay and keep banging on about it, are normally hiding something themselves in the closet. :st

What more can you expect from a ****** up, drugged thieving ex nightclub owner

Ignore his outbursts, his brain is obviously fried beyond repair. 8)

Yeh! we have heard and lived with it from gays, 'all that your really gay deep down sh*t,
How many times have I heard that crap to try to justify it, get real because it ain't normal and never was even in ancient times,
It's a perversion and everybody knows it, and always has been, it's gays who are in denial.
I have many gay friends but, they don't try to shove it down my throat, if you get the pun ?... 8)
Ps: If you lot stop telling us it's normal then us lot will stop taking the p*ss out of queers....
Pss: I was 15 years old on speed in the Alphabet Club in Gerrard St, the owner said "So your mates Gay then ?
I said "of course he is...Oh! the innocent even then...."You have No idea!

The reassignment of identity in traditional societies isn't all that unusual. In ancient Egypt it at least included the visual representation of Haptesuit (sic) although we will probable never know how this translated into her everyday life.

A related issue in Muslim society is the view about changing identity. For example the Iranians loathe homosexuality but accept it if the man will undergo sexual reassignment surgery. Their rates of such surgery are amongst the highest in the world. Therefore for them the sexual behavior issue is about sexual identity and if you do the surgery its all OK. For them men who want to have sex with other men are really women and this can be fixed with the surgeon's knife. For such men its a better option than a public hanging. To the Iranian leadership identity is not about the mind but just the plumbing.

There is a related issue of unsustainably rigid systems and breaches.

The Afgans have rigid systems on identity and sexuality - which they break regularly - as is often the case in traditional societies. For example there are multiple media reports on the role that young boys play in this sexually rigid society. In particular they do dancing for the elders and tribal leaders - probably followed by sexual contact. In societies which rigidly segregate men and women these things are not all that unusual - although they violate the religious standards they claim to uphold.

integrity

ɪnˈtɛɡrɪti
noun
1.
the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.

We could probably debate the term "moral principles" endlessly, although it does tend to get hijacked by the God Squad

"Being honest" is also open to interpretation. There is, after all, "honour amongst thieves".....or so I'm told. :a80:

Whatever happened to the concept of "live and let live". :ct

Getting back to the original topic, gents, I suppose it makes a change from the Afghan practice of Bacha Bazzi. There's an extremely good documentary on YouTube- if anyone's interested enough to look it up!

I think that's it, Keefy. I know it was about 50-60minutes, so if that one is that long, that's it.

7 minutes was enough for me - both sickening and tragic.

Well I watched it all and found it very painful to watch, poor people everywhere are at the mercy of the powerful and rich. Those poor boys.

And yet some seemed to accept the position quite happily, not that that justifies what they go through. I watched this quite a long time ago, there are others on You Tube if you wish to get a better understanding/insight into these events.

I think from watching Dusak that the poor lads were too frightened of the owners to say anything else.

They were actually sold, Carrie. Who said slavery was dead? What I couldn't reconcile myself to was the fact that a lot of those men were supposed to be 'warlords' in Afghanistan! Leaders, no less. :sd

Organised. endemic pederasty. I first came across it reading The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini)

You you see why many people think the West is mad to pour billions of dollars into a country so utterly corrupt that they cannot/will not deal with this well-known practice even though it's contrary to the teachings of Islam

It's illegal of, course.

But so is the trafficking of heroin .....90% of the world's supply grows in Afghanistan.
