Re: Tony Benn
At the risk of sounding callous about that old hardline red fire band: which name will he be buried under - Lord Wedgwood, The Hon.Tony Wedgwood-Benn or just just plain Tony Benn.
The BBC World Service has reported that he was liked and respected by all parties and was often the man politicians went to over their troubles.

Well intentioned, but in my opinion for what it's worth, unfortunately you can't make a Sow's Ear out of a Silk Purse.
Smile! It confuses people

None of the above if one's being pedantic.Hafiz wrote:At the risk of sounding callous about that old hardline red fire band: which name will he be buried under - Lord Wedgwood, The Hon.Tony Wedgwood-Benn or just just plain Tony Benn.
Viscount Stansgate (renounced)....possibly
The Rt. Hon. Anthony Wedgwood Benn........"The Hon" signifies heir to a title (he was before his father died). "The Rt. Hon." signifies a privy councillor ...(does it endure beyond office?)
Or just plain Anthony Wedgwood Benn.
Sounds as if his son Stephen is keeping his title and is now 3rd Viscount Stansgate.
