What a niave and biased report! Seems the european women who are duped by egyptian men are to blame! Obviously the report was not undertaken in Luxor! No mention of the multiple wives some of these men have just to con them out of as much money as possible. Begs the question of who undertook this investigation!! Would love to know!

The study went on to describe these marriages as a form of human trafficking, as the young men give up their religion, social life, customs and traditions for money or residency in a foreign country. The study added that the young men become love slaves for older women in exchange for money and gifts.
- Love slaves hardly receive money and gifts in return for their service! That's not human traficking - that's prostitution!

It says:Glyphdoctor wrote:Actually it is, read this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_trafficking
Human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings for the purposes of reproductive slavery, commercial sexual exploitation, forced labor, or a modern-day form of slavery…
Victims of human trafficking are not permitted to leave upon arrival at their destination. They are held against their will through acts of coercion and forced to work or provide services to the trafficker or others. The work or services may include anything from bonded or forced labor to commercialized sexual exploitation…
OK, I don't know much about marriages between Egyptian men and European women, but I do know something about trafficking and slavery, and comparing this is an insult to the many victims.

I see you chose to ignore the legal definition and instead chose the section that is marked as possibly being inaccurate. Here is the legal definition:
(a) [...] the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs;
(b) The consent of a victim of trafficking in persons to the intended exploitation set forth in subparagraph (a) of this article shall be irrelevant where any of the means set forth in subparagraph (a) have been used;
