Hi All

Post by DATOCOOK »

Hi there, I am Alex and I am 25. I am from the UK and have been holidaying in Egypt for the last 18 years! Im coming out again on NYE and am thinking of buying a property on a new development in Luxor. I have always stayed at the Etap in the past but am looking forward to getting my own place. Does anybody have any tips for a foreigner buying property in Luxor?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the L4U family.
As mentioned above take it very slowly before buying, I would strongly recommend living in an apartment and finding out about the area before buying. Hotelling it is a very different experience from self catering (we love it but it is totally different) :)

Hi Alex,

Welcome and the best of luck with your property search, the only piece of advice i can give you is do things slowly it is so easy to buy in Egypt but much harder to sell so proceed with caution...
