Forum wallpaper
I rather like the Halloween motif. Those cute little bats fluttering down the screen. Quite restful.
I'm not so sure about the white blobs - ghosts I suppose. They look more like an invasion of sperms to me...but put that down to my warped mind
I always enjoy the Christmas snowflakes. They remind me that the festive season is here. Without them I'd probably arrive in February having missed the whole damn caboodle.
But what about November the Fifth !!
Come on Keefy...there must be some fireworks motif. Or bonfire flames licking up the screen from the bottom. Better warn Dusak though...he might panic and throw a bucket of water over his new laptop. Silly sod.
And if this new wallpaper pi*ses off some people......well...that's a bonus!

No ghosties and goulies for me let alone bats
Sorry they have just appeared, I think the white blobby ghosts are quite cute.

Re: Forum wallpaper
I'm finding the new wall paper background difficult on my eyes, especially when reading the forum from my phone.
As for the subject matter, well I loath and detest the ever increasing interest and frivolity surrounding halloween, not to mention the extortionate commercialism of it.

Re: Forum wallpaper
If anyone does not like the Christmas or Halloween themes, then simply turn them off. Everyone calls upon Keefy to sort out their problems and then forget all the work he does behind the scenes to keep the forum running, then when he adds a bit of variation and seasonal fun some people have to have a moan about it.

Re: Forum wallpaper
Alfie enjoys watching them, so they are OK for us. [now I realize they are not ants.] As for sperms finding a new home for themselves, we also have a deluge of crap from you know who, a p*** taker, so whats left to cream the screen?
Life is your's to do with as you wish- do not let other's try to control it for you. Count Dusak- 1345.

Re: Forum wallpaper
O.K., so how do I turn the wallpaper off? I disabled the sprites years ago but the wallpaper appear not to be on my list of preferences.

Re: Forum wallpaper
Well if you have turned the sprites off, then you should not be seeing them, maybe you have a Gremlin in the works.

Re: Forum wallpaper
Well I for one do not forget all the work that Keefy does. Even so, it has nothing to do with my dislike of the wall paper. I don't recall Halloween wallpaper being used in the past and was surprised to see it today. Thankfully it should be gone by tomorrow!
I also think there is a bit of confusion over wallpaper and floaty things. They are two different things. I didn't even know there was Halloween floaty things. It is the background/border that I am finding irritating to my eyes.

Re: Forum wallpaper
As you say, they are two different things, what we have today are sprites which can be turned off, totally different to Wallpaper. The way I see it is that it is afterall Keefy's site and if he wants to jolly it up a bit then that's up to him.I also think there is a bit of confusion over wallpaper and floaty things. They are two different things

Re: Forum wallpaper
I understand all of that. I have to look in from my phone a lot though and this morning was no exception.DJKeefy wrote:The wallpaper can not be turned off.

I was just expressing a personal opinion, not seeking to cause an issue. It all seems to have got a bit out of hand too, but that's just my personal opinion too.

No Keefy, I'm not having a bad day - although you always seem to use that line whenever I do express opinions as above.DJKeefy wrote:Install tapatalk you will find it so easy to use, sends you notifications as well if someone replies to a topic you make or quotes you, thats if you want notifications, if not they can be turned off.

West Bank residents should gather outside BY's gaff where a huge display, followed by the 1812 Overture at full blast, accompanied by canons, is planned
