Social ramifications.

Post by carrie »

When this is all over, it must be surely at some time what will be the result do you think.
More divorces, more births?
Will people find new things to do to amuse themselves and their families, find the ability to live alone and be happy in their own company.
I have always found it easy to find different things to do, painting, reading, pottering with my plants, I made a skirt the other day with some material I had bought years ago and intended to do something with. Quite pleased with the result too although no one could claim it was Dior standard.
What are you learning about yourself?

Apart from the fact that I’ve had to shelve visits to galleries, museums, etc......and ,of course, returning to Egypt.....I haven’t noticed any change in my life.

I can well imagine that people who are used to socialising are finding it hard.

Whether there’ll be any long lasting effect....I doubt. Most people are so ingrained in their ways that these enforced changes, even if they last another six months, will soon be a distant memory.

There have been some remarkable stories of the good side of human nature....and inevitably some examples of gross stupidity and selfishness.

Maybe it’s a bit early to say whether there’ll be any long term consequences.
