This evening, the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, announced the closures of the UK Travel Corridors and the need for everyone arriving in the UK to Self Isolate for 10 days. This is in addition to the recent announcement of the requirement for pre-travel Covid testing.
Travel corridors suspended
Travel corridors will be suspended from 4am on Monday 18 January.
Anyone arriving in the UK after 4am on Monday 18 January will need to self-isolate for 10 days.
You must have proof of a negative coronavirus test to travel to England from 4am on Monday 18 January.

I can’t imagine the absence of corridors will inconvenience many people.
The main countries affected are New Zealand and Australia, Then there’s Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Otherwise it’s mainly small island states.
Oh...mustn’t forget British Antarctic Territory.
