To clean your kettle of limestone-Put about a couple of tablespoons of white vinegar in the kettle and enough water to the minimum level, and bring to the boil.It works, I've tried it. For cleaning your stainless steel covered kitchen furniture-ie-cookers,microwaves,etc, use Johnsons baby oil on a soft cloth. It shines a treat.

Interesting old film clip, comparing it to the present day it would seem that those surrounding sand dunes were never really cleared away properly, so each year they would creep back towards the base...
