I've just read a review and they look like a good read.
Yesterday afternoon I took out 'A Thousand splendid Suns' from the library and I returned it today.....I just couldn't put it down- it was fantastic.

Ive been reading the Cairo trilogy and its great I cant wait to go to Cairo in October even if it is for a day. The author makes everything seem so life like in bazzars and coffee houses. Im now on the second book and cant wait to get home to read. !

You all just reminded me that I have the whole trilogy just waiting to be re-read . . . I got a hard-back volume with all 3 so that should be a balancing act for bedtime reading.

I think it might have more immediacy for me since I've been to Cairo several times now. I hadn't even been at the time I first read them so this should be interesting.

Hot summer days and nights are meant for doing nothing but reading!!
