We are Justen and Lynne Karlsson, both retired and both interested in Luxor and living the life, my husband likes golf, fishing, walking, motor racing and his passion is Boxing having been a semi pro when he was younger.
My passion is walking, television, meeting people especially the locals, knitting, golf, and reading.

we both like Classic cars and before moving to Luxor owned 2.

We both had our own business's in the UK, which we sold and dispanded before moving.

We hate the following, poor manners, gossip, C--P Stirring and the statements, guilty by assosiation, common in Luxor!! We also hate the old outdated entertainments and would never be seen dead in a Karaoke Bar. We are not keen on films, both of us have a tendancy to fall asleep while watching.

Our outlook in life is to be happy, and to make nice friends, we both intend to live the life and by living in the rural parts we have the perfect opportunity.

We both love animals especially dogs, having been the owners of 3 Old English Sheepdogs for many years, we hope to get another dog, maybe a Mut, when settled into our new Villa.

We like to travel and love the solitude of Cabo Verde, and the Spice Islands. My husband likes the Cook Islands.

While living in Luxor we haveno intentions of owning a car or motorcycle, public transport is cheap enough fo us.

Well thats about everything folk, the table has been laid bare, nothing more to say.

hi J & L - Welcome! when you had the sheepdogs - all at the same time? or consecutively? how did you find them? And, cause of the coats were they hard to maintain?

HI J & L How lovely to hear you had Old English ! I had one and she was wondeful, I loved her so much. Their coats hard work LLL and to keep them looking good they need daily grooming, worth it though and I would deffo have another.

We had our OLd English all together, Ben Charlie and Hanna they were great but hard to keep, our children in their teens used to adore them and look after, at weekends we washed and brushed them out very time consuming with them having 2 coats a mat coat and a waterproof coat. Ben weighed 8 stone and was massive, Charlie was a pest and Hanna adorable, my wife used to show Ban and Hanna they were the right colours - 4 white socks, grey back and flanks and a complete white head. we had many happy hours, I don't believe I am saying this because of JoJo's earlier mail, on Skegness Beach, we only lived 20 mins away, and I was born in Lincoln.

Back to the OSD's we would have them half cut for the Summer and only show them in the Winter with their full coats.

I could be wrong, but I get an uneasy feeling that this decision of you both to settle here permanently could come back to haunt you in the future.
