Just a little nudge. :)

Voting finishes at midnight Luxor time today. At present it looks like Sue had better start thinking about Januarys subject......but that could still change.

Let's have those last votes please. :)

And the Winner is .......

The voting is over and the first of the new-style photo competitions has its first winner.

1st was Sue with 9.11 for the very twee robin!
2nd was Grandad with 8
3rd was Jo with 7.11
4th was LovelyLadyLux with 7
5th was MiriamKhalifa with 6.71

So it's time for Sue to start thinking of a topic - it doesn't just have to be confined to Egypt by the way, as we're trying to widen the competition

Thank you for the lovely comments, I am now trying to think of a subject for the next one, as I don't think we managed to get a list of topics together for the year yet.
After Christmas I am thinking about all the food I have eaten, what about that for a subject, It could be food of any kind, growing even, like apples or bananas, lemons hanging on the tree. Vegetables growing, sweetcorn, Sunshine fields of corn stacks or food being sold on market stalls in lovely heaps. Cooked food ready to eat like Jewel's lovely luscious pie. Ingredients displayed artistically on a plate, anything loosely connected with food.
What do you think?
My other idea is a bit off the wall really, Light or rather it's effect on something. This could be anything from candlelight hitting a wine glass, to sunlight glowing on a golden head of hair, moonlight or beams of light shining through a stained glass window, light captured on water even.
Or anyone got any other ideas that they would like to try and capture this month.

Very well done Sue :)Much deserved.

I like the idea of the next topic being food. It is a subject that everyone can easily participate in. I love the light idea but from the perspective of a selfish beginner  I would find this REALLY difficult!

I like single word topics Sue because it leaves more to the imagination.

Food sounds good to me and 'Light' would be good for the future.

Although we have now opened up the competition I intend to use Egypt pictures where they fit the subject........might even have some thing on food.

Would it be pushing things to include 'drink'?
