There will be a shorter day in Egypt's banks and on the Egyptian Stock Exchange during the month of Ramadan.
During the month of Ramadan the working day for clients in Egypt’s banks will end at 1.30pm rather than the usual 5pm, the Central Bank of Egypt stated onTuesday.
Employees’ working hours will be extended to 2.00pm, during the Islamic holy month which starts on 20 July.
On Thursday Egyptian Stock Exchange stated that it will reduce its daily trading hours by an hour.
