A Final Thought

Post by Chocolate Eclair »

Looking up at people stood by
Many trying not to cry
But their tears are not true, they are not blue,
Just making out, I am someone they knew.
There, Margaret there who gave me grief
There's Julie there who called me a thief.
Then Mr Mann thought he was a friend
His evil way he could not mend

Looking along the crooked line
Is Mr West who dealt in crime
Next to him is Mrs Moore
A well known figure and convicted whore
All these people need not grieve
Most of them do not believe
The end of the line the Vicar is stood
Even his past is really no good

This is the last, time my eyes will see
People grieving over me
The earth is thrown over my face
A signal that I have left the race
All start to leave, the crying does cease
Finally I can Rest in Peace
The light has gone and I close my eyes
My Spirit rises into the Skies
