An old song I loved from the 80's that actually sounds better then the original..
Ronnie James Dio back in 1962 singing one of my absolute favourite songs. Will You Still Love me tomorrow..
And finally, Holst. The Planets.. Here's Neptune

For a start off CE, you had BBCode disabled, Ive enabled it for you (can be turned on or off in the user control panel). BBcodes are needed to show photo's from the album, video's, smilies and even quotes, so keep it turned and try again with some video's

Elton John: Song for Guy
Steve Reich: The Desert Music
Roy Wood: Music to Commit Suicide By
... and yes, I do own originals of all three on vinyl or CD. Reminds me that I need to rip my collection onto my PC sometime soon.

Nothing on this thread for the last 90 minutes. Does this mean that you are all listening to Steve Reich, or that you have succumbed to Roy Davies? Guy was already dead before Elton composed a song for him.

Re: Your youtube top 3 songs (this week)
I doubt he wrote the song and then thoughtBrian Yare wrote: Guy was already dead before Elton composed a song for him.
"I shall dedicate this to Guy if he dies".. "the way he rides that motorbike, he's bound to be needing a funeral song, sooner or later"..
He actually wrote the song the day before Guy was killed,...
Waiting for inspiration for a title, then in comes the news... Every cloud and all that.
What if the despatch rider had a ridiculous name like "Algernon", or "Kevin".. ???
Lyrically, although 100% factually accurate, the song didn't exactly push Elton's lyric writing capacity to the limit
and have his hands twitching above the telephone to call Bernie Taupin for advice during the composition....
Nice song though, First time I have heard it in a long time..
That Adele's video.
Now, if she actually got off her chair and did some moving about, and not have that Ninja doing all the dancing for her, while swinging that Katana sword, Then she may loose a bit of weight...
Maybe the Doctor could lend Adele his Nunchucks from the thermometer picture.. She could go up against the ninja, not that I fancy her chances much, but entertaining non the less....
Actually, I noticed that she did almost get off the chair in the video, at 1:20 ... Then thought, Naaaaa..
When she's tapping her foot, and all the glasses of water are like in that scene from Jurassic Park...
Just Saying..
There's a time for everyone, if they only learn

Got it in one Sarah Jane.
THEY have a choice, and did not choose wisely..
Waste of a good vehicle, and limits the possibilities...
PS what is a GT-I9300 ?

BM I'm shocked and surprised Did not see you comment on Barry White ! Whose moves suggest he needs to sit down ... fast Now that would be funny Adele taking on Barry White suspect she would win has more arm leverage with the Nunchucks. the Ninja well Adele bobbing around the floor does nothing for me maybe it would for you but suspect your more a Pink man or Susie Quatro (who was on the TV this morning, talking about sweating in her leathers )Bullet Magnet wrote:Brian Yare wrote: Guy was already dead before Elton

I liked ONE pink song, and that was it, and Adele does Nothing for me whatsoever, dsaxelby wrote: BM I'm shocked and surprised Did not see you comment on Barry White ! I can tolerate one or 2 of her songs once in a blue moon, but that is it
I didnt watch the Barry White song, as that was way overplayed in my youth at youthclubs and disco's.. Never really a fan of the Luuurve Walrus either..
Proper Songs, thats what I like, and there are lots of good ones in this topic.. Bar the 3 mentioned above.. (Phil Collins ( pass the razor blades) and Cheesy Cliff to add to that list )
Good Music comes from Heaven, literally..
PS Sorry Choccy, but I cant edit your posts..
IF I make it to Luxor in October, you will sit down with me until you have this posting of videos and pictures mastered..
PPS

So, sadly, It's not Sarah Jane from Dr Who ? Offering me a lift in the Tardis to 1976...
and No thunderstorms and Lightning to propel me into another time when I hit 88mph as Jewel said there would be...
