Civil protection and Nile rescue forces in Luxor extinguished a fire that broke out in the tourist cabin cruiser “Al-Namilatan” while anchoring, with no casualties.
Tourism inspector Hosni Hussein said the fire broke out from a short circuit below the cockpit.
He said the ship has been docked since 11 February because tourism has been affected by the political situation.
