Pray, do tell me, what convinces you that the death mask you refer to, is that of Tutankhamun, is it that simple carelessly stamped cartouche that is stamped in soft gold, on one side ?

Now now A-Four, play nice!

Although there is much debate as to whether the mask was made for him or taken from someone else upon his death, most people do refer to the mask as his if only to make it clear what it is they are talking about.

I may have owned a house once but If I sell it then it is no longer mine so whatever or wherever the mask came from it is technically his!

Well, this must be a very simple question to you especially. Is this the face of Tutankhmon ?

In answer to your question Zooropa, the tomb was found intact. A number were inspected during the 19th and 20th Dynasty. A really good example of this can be found in the tomb of Tuthmosis 1V requested by Horumheb under the supervision of an official called Maya, or as he called himself,........'Superintendent of the Works in the Place of Eternity'.

At first it doesn't look like his face it looks like that of a woman but then I forgot about the feminine aspects that I had.

I looked like a female minus the breast. I had wide hips and a body of a very sexy female. But despite this I was messed up because I may of have bad feet hense the nickname Hung Foot.

So to conclude what I may be trying to say although it my might seem feminine it actually male. Another possibility is that perhaps this was already made before his death when he was younger perhaps fifteen or so. Kings are known to work on thier burials I know of who have.

I know Seti worked on his tomb very early in his reign hell it looked finished when Seti showed me it all it needed was him to be placed in it and me he had another part in the tomb where he wanted me to buried so we could be close but that didn't happen.

The tomb was vibrant with colors mostly blue it was really gorgeous to see.

But back on Tut it looms like him but with feminine features. It's probably him in his younger days as truly a boy.

Thank you for your response here Frater, for which I am most grateful for.

I notice that in your previous life, you were given a full tour of Seti 1's tomb on its completion, being that our friend here Zooropa has asked me to play nice with you, I shall later this evening ask YOU, what will be a very simple question, that most people of the modern day will not know, even Belzoni and Carter did not twigg, about this tomb,...........but I am sure you will be able to furnish us with full details.

Will come back to this, later in the evening. ( London time.)

well, here we are Frater, you may have noticed that my knowledge on this subject of Egyptology is some what rather limited, so please help me where possible.

I want you to again walk through the tomb of SETI 1, but this time with me. As we walk deep down into this deepest of all the tombs, I am not going to ask up you for any details of this most excellent raised relief or the beautiful colours, which I am sure you and I can agree on.

It is not here that I wish to take you, but much further, in fact to the actual burial chamber of this great pharaoh, which held the very coffin, (not sarcophagus), but then again the sarcophagus of neither Seti 1, nor Ramessis 11 or for that matter, his successor Merneptah has ever been found.

Immediately at the entrance, as you look into the great burial chamber, Belzoni and Beefchey, who, we believe were the first to enter this tomb since antiquity saw a room directly to the left, they called it the sideboard room, because of its lay out. In this room they discovered several statues in wood though paint black, and each in various, what appeared broken pieces, there was something rather special about the features expressed upon the face of each of these.

I have three questions for you Frater:

1) How tall were these statues, that you would have CERTAINLY seen on your visit.

2) Where exactly did you see them. (You would certainly have remembered.)

3) Give brief details of the expression and anything you felt important, on the face of each of the statues.

These statues were lost shortly after this discovery, we were lead to believe that a certain Mr Salt in Cairo, sold these on, and today, it's believed they are in the vaults of a European Museum.

I should like to point out that I am not referring to the beautiful blue glazed ushabti figures, that when you last saw them, would have been in one or more equally exquisite wooden boxes, over laid in gold, these alas have long gone, though the ushabti figures were found scattered on the floor of this area.

May I remind you that I said it seemed finished thats doesn't mean that it was( meaning antiquity wise) but the lay out of the tomb was complete. Nothing of value was in there yet as it was the beginning of Seti's reign. Seti had this tomb planned out greatly because it was well put together.

To be honest with you I was shown only important memories nothing minor but upon my death I was able to tell my Nubian Lover how to get around Seti's tomb( so obviously I did know much about it but my visions didn't allow me to explore those memories because I get it wasn't important). There is a huge pit in there that would trap the foe into its bottom. I told him how to get around it because there was a way to get around that gaping whole in the ground to Seti's tomb

Seti's head was beheaded by my Nubian Lover in honor of me( I got to see this after my death). I believe Seti had on his Sapphire Beetle ( made from the real sapphire jewel).

Those statues that you speak of must have been placed after my departure remember I left Upper Egypt and centured into Nubia where I remained until my death.

I came at the middle of Ramses I's reign and departed in the very early part of Seti's reign. Most if my life was spent in Mitanni with my mother and the later part was in Egypt. I was a stranger to my own country. I was born about late year 14 of Akhenaten I hardly got to kn ok w many of my relatives. I was flat out too young to know what was going on.

But I will say that Seti's tomb supposed to be a two man burial but it never happened i'm in somewhere near the borders of upper Egypt and Irem)

May I remind you Frater,.............that the two items I have requested to be identified here, were not a minor feature. These items were only second in importance to the actual body of the pharaoh himself, and would have been in place, even long before his death, and I assure you, had you been invited to view this tomb at that time, your attention would most certainly have been drawn to them. Please remember, as you have said above, the room that Belzoni christened the 'saloon', though you and I know this to be the burial chamber, was, as you state above,....... blue in decoration.

P.S. - May I suggest you 're-visit' the scene.

News to me. Seti's is in the Sir John Soane museum in London. Fragments of 3 of Merenptah's 4 stone sarcophagi have been found...the outer has been reconstructed in KV8. The silver inner sarcophagus was used in the burial of Psusennes I and is in the Cairo Museum.

Maybe you meant "coffin"?

Correction I said the most of Seti's tomb had vibrant blue colouring( mostly the ceiling) not just one side of it.

I've been in that tomb only once and that was likely in Seti's first year of reign however as my memory progresses I knew much of it to know it had a trap inside it.

Yes I agree with you that those statues were placed in thier long before his death and I also believe that it was placed thier after my departure.

Again I was not in Egypt upon my last days I was in Nubia. But I verbally assisted my Nubian Lover in robbing the tomb. Perhaps it was placed there upon my absence.

I'm sorry if I couldn't give u the answers you sought on Seti's tomb.

But I may spark your interest in something else. The Golden tip of third pyramid is located in the secret chamber that Seti introduced me to.

I am sorry to say this Newcastle, in this matter you are wrong.

When dealing with the royal burials of ancient Egypt, there are two clear distinctions being coffin and sarcophagus, the former placed of course in the latter. Truthfully the term sarcophagus was adopted by early Egyptologist to describe the main outer-container of the 'Russian doll set'. ( The actual truth about a sarcophagus, was that they were used in another Eastern civilization for the opposite effect that these object had in Egypt.)

The item that you state, that is in the stair well of Sir John Soam's Museum is made of pure alabaster, not only is the actual carving to create the box form a master piece in itself, but then to realise that it's walls are only 2 inches thick, add to this, there are some 700 figures, each only 2 inches high. If you were to place a lamp inside this 'box' you would see that it is transparent, in total, this truly is one of the greatest treasures of the ancient world, yet so few people see this, let alone appreciate it.

If you go to this museum, suggest to the curator that you are doing research at the Griffith's Institute, Oxford, and he will show you not only the fragments of the top of this 'box' that depict the face of Seti, but also will show you a water colour picture of the 'box' when it first arrived at this museum, I leave others to decide the serious amount of deterioration that has occurred since then, thanks to London's pollution.

I suspect there is a very special reason why no sarcophagus have been found in the three tombs, previously stated, I have my own thoughts. I wonder if anyone knows why they are missing.

P.S. The 'box' in the Soames Museum is a COFFIN of Seti 1, and certainly not the sarcophagus.

Again I apologize A-four if I wasted your time.

But some thing that i'm alluded to in my love's reign because I departed in the middle of his reign. I

I will say that I helped him design some of his monuments.

During the construction of the Temples, Seti took me to one of his neww unfinished temples. We were so amazed how well everything was coming along. Then he took me to one of the columns and carved our names in it as a symbol stating that the Temple belonged to the both of us. We were both equals

Quite strange here Fratter that you mention the above, actually, where I have posed a question for others to answer, perhaps in your own way, you might have answered, though further details are required.

Well of course im not topic about the other space in Seti's tomb but in that chamber where I saw the dead space man. It my belief that it fell off when this mysterious star being came to Egypt it is buried some where near the pyramids.

Hey when u go to Egypt try this for me at the pillar of Thutmosis IV. Form a pyramid(or triangle)out of your knocks and see what happens.

I'm wondering if its located near or under the sphinx.
