Looking for Annual Multi-trip cover for the next year I came up with a couple of problems.
In the past, most insurers have included any country with a Mediterranean Sea border as being in 'Europe'. This is no longer so.
Very few companies allow more than 28 or 31 days per trip.
As we are coming for 35 days next trip our choice was very restricted. With no changes to the medical history my policy is now double the price, and Helen's has gone up about 8-fold. I know that we are a year older, but this did seem rather steep!

Re: Travel Insurance
I use virgin travel insurance. It allows up to 90 days stay at a time, and costs me 63 quid for an annual multi trip cover. Its a bit cheaper because I have a virgin credit card, which also gets me a reduction on virgin trains. As the Manchester flights have stopped I can get a discounted train ticket to London heathrow with it.

Re: Travel Insurance
Insurance ?
I notice you can now get insurance over here for 5O's to 80' year old's, No health checks! or anything! just pay £4.50pm. now if that isn't a Con I don't know what is.
Most people don't know it but third-parties can insure other people, now that sounds like a far better Con….

Re: Travel Insurance
I exaggerated on the price of Helen's insurance - I got a much better quote and overestimated last year's price. So it has only gone up by about 50%, which is not unreasonable. But going for more than 28/31 days per trip greatly decreased the choice. Thank you all for the tips.
