There is a lot to be said for atheistic satanisn and its 'holy book' The Satanic Bible :
9.Satan has been the best friend the church has ever had, as he has kept it in business all these years!
Who could argue with any of that?
Have you read it?Scottishtourist wrote:newcastle wrote:

Nope..the title alone does not instill any desire within me to read it.HEPZIBAH wrote:Have you read it?Scottishtourist wrote:newcastle wrote:

In many case's, when I have overcome my own prejudice's and fears, it has been to my advantage.Scottishtourist wrote: Nope..the title alone does not instill any desire within me to read it.
I couldn't agree more BM, just look at the track record of the roman catholic church and it's leaders. The inquisition, persecution of witches (more were innocent, than guilty of practicing a religion of love), the neutral stance of the Vatican in WW2 whilst 1000's of catholics were being murdered in the death camps. Also practicing necromancy (revering the bones of the dead and looking for healing from them) The links with the mafia. etc etc. I could go on but you get the point. I thank my gods that I am not a Christian.Bullet Magnet wrote:“The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan.
