I know what you mean Carrie my wife's pension was frozen from the start living here. I can imagine a lot of people refer to a family or some address in UK to get their increases, providing they can live with themselves, be known as cheats and thieves I suppose it's ok, they are living in the right place. Ha Ha!

What does sometimes annoy me is the fact that some people here don't tell the authorities that they live here and receive there increases yearly plus heating allowance and all the other freebies. Still I can sleep at night without worry.
You could always try and time a visit to the UK to claim your heating allowance

Apparently water storage tanks are dangerous as well, a family of three have just been discovered face down inside one according to the news.

Very poor taste, both of you, to make fun of such a tragedy.

This is a very large covered cement tank used on rural properties, with a small access for maintenance. It was not the tank that was deadly, but the pump lowered into it. One was overcome by carbon dioxide, the others also when they went to his aid. A husband and wife and his brother, all in their sixties. A close community are in shock and mourning.

You'll be telling us next cesspits are dangerous and not funny if one drowns in one.
It's probably not funny only if you knew or were related to those that perished, if not all is lower emotional rhetoric.
Similar to tying stupid ribbons around trees..

Some forty years ago I fell into an open cesspit while attempting to repair a side wall, brick built. Not funny, only to those watching from the sidelines. As the saying goes, s*** sticks.

That is a useful link. So if one happens to take a single week's holiday that coincides with the dates listed, one does not get the WFP?

Seems a rather harsh restriction, but I can plan around it. :-)
