I think that everyone on here wishes MT and his wife all the best in their new life, myself included. MT gives the proverbial, so it is returned. He himself gave the title of the biggest wind up merchant in Luxor, so we wind up in reverse. No one on here has been really nasty towards him, just disagreements and opposing opinions. I do not really think that he gives a jot what he reads on here, as it should be. I look forwards to reading the name and shame posts as I've ran out of paint. I personally think that I manage my life and existence here in wonderful Luxor quite brilliantly, its others that cloud my sunshine.

Personally, i think some people take the death of their pets way too seriously but thats their right.

Having said that, mocking the death in rhyme of someone's pet however it came about qualifies as nasty in my book.

I could rewrite my rhyme in prose if you'd prefer.

Me neither, I could not give a rat’s arse what MT puts on his Facebook page or his so called blog and I doubt that anyone else does either. He is either incredibly stupid with what he posts or incredibly crass, I suspect the former. As for his veiled threats, well carry on old son, I doubt if they will carry any more weight than all the threats you made against the person who ripped you off, your plans for revenge et al, that was another damp squib. So in the words of Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, publish and be dammed. Plus he makes the wild assumption that anyone will actually read his blog, a true sign of a megalomaniac.

The motivation and reasoning behind it are irrelevant as far as i am concerned.

If we thought it was ok to treat people we dont like in any way we feel we would need a lot more jail space.

I said "too" seriously and i highly suspect that whatever decision was taken the usual suspects would have been sticking the boot in.

I for one do not give a damn what he says has posted where, if that can be believed. And if he has, so what? Who cares? He probably lied about losing the internet just so he could wait and have such a dig at responders. Quite likely another of his famous "funny" set-ups that so many fall for.

I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if he eventually says his plans for his poor dog were just his idea of teasing and the dog is fine and eventually going to another home in Egypt or elsewhere or to Australia after quarantine. Nor would I be surprised if he does kill the poor dog. I wouldn't put anything past him based on his history here. I believe nothing he says about anything and you're mad if you do.

Nor did I believe anyone's wishes for a happy new life for him. I personally couldn't care less. He is one of the main reasons for the decline of this forum and I'm not afraid to say so, unlike others. Many only support him against criticism of him and like him posting so they can have cheap shots at him. Surely you don't seriously believe we'll never hear from him again? If so then you are delusional; in your dreams.

As to him learning? More delusions. And once again, who cares if he does or not? Not this little black duck.

Whilst we are on the subject of delusional, it seems pretty delusional to me for anyone to claim they know what everyone is thinking and what they do and do not really mean and what motivations they have for supporting him or anyone else.

As for you patting yourself on the back for telling it like it is and "others" being afraid to, i have not detected any reticence on anyone's part when it comes to expressing a view on MT so i wouldn't expect any frankness awards on that front.

I wasn't questioning your honesty. I speak for no-one but myself. You have rarely posted for a long time. I didn't say I claimed to know what everyone is thinking; that's your words.

Others have regularly, and particularly strongly, posted against him. From the many, many such posts it is impossible to believe most really wish him well. Their other comments belie it. You just said exactly that: " i have not detected any reticence on anyone's part when it comes to expressing a view on MT " and "they are capable of expressing that themselves." That was my point. I rarely have commented for quite some time, even when he had a go directly or indirectly at me, and then mainly to correct erroneous "information" about Australia on his so-called "blog" so others got the facts. From replies to his "facts", people obviously believed everything without even checking.

I have projected nothing. I have read over and over what they thought for many years, and seen clearly just how especially pointed they have been since his recent declarations, as on this thread. And then there are the PMs I have been sent which also expressed clear opinions.

I remember reading long years ago that a family member, sorry can't remember which one, was remembering in fondness as she watched Charlie giggling to himself reading the responses to his sometimes cutting and blunt responses when in the mood. He was a mischief maker and still loved for his contributions, which, on the whole were very well put, informative and intelligent. Unfortunately MT's qualities fell at the first hurdle from the introduction of J&L all those years back. When a person constantly needles you, getting right up your nose an inch further than a cotton bud, you can't help but respond, which, as already said, is what he wants. So let us not upset him by ignoring him, pretending that he doesn't exist. He loves the attention, quite evidently so as he quotes how many hits and pages his posts collect.But a constantly maligned victim he certainly is not.
