For Egyptology and photography buffs alike, a fascinating BBC documentary on the work of Harry Burton , the man behind the camera in many of the iconic photos of the 1922 discovery.
Margaret Mountford (remember her as Alan Sugar's sidekick in "The Apprentice" ?) does well in avoiding some of the hype which marrs many of the programmes featuring the discovery of the tomb and its aftermath.
Totally amazing...considering the camera technology of the time, and the very difficult environment in which Burton had to work.

Re: The Man Who Shot Tutankhamun
This rather fine photo of me was taken by Harry Burton who kindly presented it to me, whilst I was earning
some extra money playing Howard Carters' hands.

Well it was really, the guy playing Harry Burton....
