I would ask that the Mayor's office take a look at the security situation on London Bridge.
If terrorists are now using vehicles to target civilians then, unfortunately, London Bridge is a prime target. The pavement walking North-to-South is extremely wide to cater for the volume of pedestrians that use the bridge at peak times. In addition the traffic flow (North-to-South) is usually relatively clear even during rush hour (ie cars/buses/motorbikes/etc are not normally queuing but can accelerate unimpeded in this direction).
At present there are no barriers at all between the road and the pavement (just a low kerb). At least it would make sense to put regular black metal posts up (as we see along other walkways across the capital)....

Even better still, just increase the kerb height as they have done in many airport entrances to stop a vehicle mounting it easily, but I note that Egypt (Luxor in particular) have already adopted this improved security measure.
