Problem with "learning from history" is that history is either "written by the victor", "written out of history" or "completely distorted", so lessons these days are hard to learn.

ALL Empires come to an end, History has proved that to be true time and time again, How long before the American Empire ends ? and just how similar today is the American Empire to the final days of the Roman Empire and the reasons for its collapse ? .....

There is one major difference though. America is a continent and it is in isolation and a long way from anywhere.



I did laugh at the end of the Film "the day after tomorrow" where all the yanks move to South America to escape the ice age in the North.

The American government said they would delete the National Debt to those new host countries in South America. !

Those same countries could easily say "What debt" ? , "you no longer have an economy". . . . . . gringo ...
