Well I have planted my beetroot, carrot, turnip and parsley seeds and after just a week they are up and have got four leaves on each. Really chuffed first time my seeds have germinated. :lol: Doesn't take much to please me.

My beetroot, radishes and carrots did well a few years back, then I discovered that you could by them here. :lol: My friend brought me a splendid gift back earlier on in the year from Germany, a large turnip [which are difficult to grow here soil wise] gave me my favorite mix, mashed carrots and turnip. :eat The best of luck with your horticultural endeavors. :up

Good luck with your seedlings Carrie. One thing to watch out for...the birds are very partial to young seedlings...you don't need to ask how we know :urm:
